Le 21 juillet 1985. Le "Tour du Cantal" continue entre Bort-les-Orgues et Mauriac avec la 141 R 420 en tête et la 141 TD 740 en pousse. Les deux locomotives assurent toujours leurs prestations aujourd'hui, mais la ligne entre Bort, Mauriac et Aurillac a été fermée en 1993.

The Tour du Cantal continues from Bort les Orgues towards Mauriac, with 141 TD 740 banking and 141 R 420 doing much of the work at the front of train, and laying a thick cloud of black smoke across the Cantal hills for the last time on this line.

Le 21 juillet 1985. Début d'un "Tour du Cantal" memorable avec la 141 R 420 et la 141 TD 740 ( ici ) et une rame de B11 PLM "Bacalan". Le train est parti de Neussargues pour remonter la ligne jusqu'au terminus à Bort-les-Orgues. Ici la 141 TD se fait tourner sur la plaque du petit dépot. Première visite d'une locomotive à vapeur depuis 20 ans. Deux ans plus tard le dépot sera rasé et la plaque découpée.

The 141 TD 740 is turned at the little depot of Bort-les-Orgues, in the Cantal, the first visit by steam locomotive for twenty years. It is July 21st 1985 and the tank locomotive, originally from the Paris suburbs, is making a "Tour du Cantal" with 141 R 420 and a rake of ex PLM B11 carriages. Two years later the depot will be demolished and the turntable cut up.

Chateaudun, juin 1991. Une belle journée d'été et la 230 G 353 accelère son train au départ de Chateaudun sous la potence et à destination de Vendôme et Tours.

Près de Perpignan, 1973. Un 141R de Narbonne remorque un trés long train Transfesa à destination de Cerbère et l'Espagne. Absence totale de camions sur la nationale 9 !
